Sophie Burkhardt
Architectural Intern
Born and raised in Southern California, Sophie discovered her love for architecture and design at a young age from reading books and building forts in her living room. In high school she took graphic design classes and attended architecture summer camps, which motivated her to pursue architecture school.
Sophie is currently working towards her Bachelor's of Architecture degree from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo. Her 4th year off-campus studies have brought her to The Netherlands, Switzerland, Italy, and now Washington. After graduating, Sophie hopes to live and pursue architecture in the Pacific Northwest.
In her free time, Sophie enjoys adventuring outdoors. On the weekends she can be found hiking, cycling, or climbing rocks anywhere where there are trees, water, and mountains.
